Breezy drew this lettering based on Psalm 111:1 with chalk on a framed chalkboard.
In the kitchen, near The Thankful Tree.
“Praise the Lord!
I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart,
in the company of the upright, in the congregation.
Great are the works of the Lord,
studied by all who delight in them.
Full of splendor and majesty is His work,
and His righteousness endures forever.”
—Psalm 111:1-3
Have a most joyous and blessed Thanksgiving!
P.S. I would love to know what you are thankful for – feel free to share with me in a comment!

Beautiful work! I love her writing =)
I’m thankful for SO many things today, but probably one of the first would be that I am part of a wonderful family that loves the Lord – and that we get to spend this day together with hearts of gratitude toward our Savior!
Wow, her writing is so beautiful! :)
I’m also thankful for my family :) As well as the beautiful sun shining through the window above me, the ability for me to practise my faith and convictions, good friends, a hot cup of tea, creativity, and the blood of the Messiah who redeems me.
What a beautiful script and poem. Perhaps your sister will consider selling prints in her etsy shop?
I am SO thankful for the son that God has given my husband and I.
She did a great job!
I love the chalkboard—I’m going to pin it for reference for next year. I have so many things to be thankful for—I think I’m the most thankful for God’s grace to me.
So beautiful! I love both the gorgeous framed piece and the beautiful tree of thankfulness. *smile* Oh, how to choose one thing that I am grateful for…there are so many! ;) One would be my Savior, Jesus Christ. Blessings, Emily Rose, and hope you have a blessed day of thanksgiving.
Amazing! You and your sister are both so talented, that’s something to give thanks for too!
The Lord spared my life on October 16th, 2012. I was hit by a driver that ran a red light, and hit me on the drivers side of my vehicle. Then spun me into a yard and then hit a tree, back into the intersection and then in the same yard hitting another tree. The police told me if I would of been 1/3 of a second slower it would of been tragic. This Thanksgiving I am praising the Lord along with my family that Psalm 91 is true to all believers. Praise the Lord oh my soul, worship His Holy Name. Love the chalkboard writing, great blog. It is great to be in the presence of other believers.
Two things I wasn’t able to be thankful for last Thanksgiving: 1 year of marriage, and a baby! :)
P.S.
I love the chalk idea for the Thankful Tree.
Oh, and beautiful job, Breezy!
Amen!!
How stunning! What a wonderful verse. Not only is the lettering and frame beautiful, but you present and compliment it very well with your photography. You and Breezy are very talented and artistic.
I had a question for you. Feel no pressure to answer it if you don’t the have time.
Out of your two favorite lenses (28mm 1.8 and 50mm 1.4) which performs better for portraits and low light situations?
