7 December 2009

This morning we awoke in a beautiful snow-coated land. The widows were foggy, but through the glass we could see a white powder covering the world outside.

The the grass peaks up through the inch-high bright snow and the sun has yet to show it’s happy face this morning, but it may be out of kindness so that we can enjoy seeing the white outdoors a little longer.

There are still snowflakes fluttering about, adding a bit more to the layer that has already taken its rest on the plants. It is the beginning of the Winter season.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord
And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning
And Your faithfulness by night,

Psalm 92:1-2

    I need it to snow again here, because the pictures I took weren’t very good. :( Yours are beautiful, though!

    I was absolutely shocked when I pulled back the curtains this morning to see the snow, and tried to remember the last time it snowed this early in Indiana. I call these days “cozy days”. The kind of days where you just want to curl up with a blanket, sip tea, and read a book.

    I was excited to see snow this morning!!
    Poor Dad had to push someone’s car back onto the road, though- without gloves! Burrr…

    I should have gone out and taken pictures…oh, well. I’m sure I’ll get plenty of snowy days this winter!

    Hello Emily Rose!
    Last night during our church’s Christmas choir music program, it began snowing and when we walked out a beautiful blanket of snow covered the ground…simply beautiful!
    We enjoyed our morning walk in the snow and it is such a beautiful shade of white! God’s Creation is lovely!

    Joyfully in Jesus,
    Elizabeth

    Hello Emily! Beautiful photos! My name is also Emilee, and I too am home schooled. I have visited your blog a few times and have throughly enjoyed it each time. I am a beginning photographer and I have a few questions that I would love if you could answer. What kind of camera do you have? And how did you make your watermark/signature that are on you pictures? Thank you and God Bless!
