28 October 2009

The sunrise was beautiful on Monday. As the sun rose, the sky turned from orange to red . . .

. . . the bright and glorious colors rising all the while.

When the sun began to peak through the corn, the colors turned golden and the clouds began to look peaceful and almost surreal.

When I came inside from taking the photographs, the sun had made it to the top of the corn and the light was warming the room with is beautiful rays. What a beautiful reminder of the lovingkindesses of the Lord that are new every morning!

The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.

They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23

    How beautiful Emily!

It is a great reminder. I’ve been seeing quite a few stunning sunrises/sunsets recently and I’m loving it. I feel like I’m in a painting. God is such an amazing artist!

Wonderful photos emily! I love the sunsets and the curtains with the sunlight behind them is just gorgeous! Yes I thought of this verse this morning actually that God will always be there even if the sun does not rise and even when it does rise he will always be with us! I don’t know where that basic idea of a verse is from, but the Lord put it there and your verse just makes God’s love sweeter! I love it when God gives us a theme of verses. He really he talking through his word to me! its just great!

These photos remind me of the sunrises in Arizona, where I’m from. I’ve never seen one to equal them…

That is gloriously breathtaking! I love to think of the sunrise’s and sunset’s as the Creator’s “watercolor artwork.”

Thank you for sharing those stunning pictures!

    Blessings,
    Grace

I’m usually asleep during the sunrise *sheepish grin*, but I should drag myself out of bed earlier more often to see them :-)

    Emily,

I love your photos! They are beautiful! I really love photography and I was just wondering what kind of camera you use. You really have a wonderful talent!

Also, I was wondering, do you know where I can find long, warm skirts? I have just moved to a colder state and I am committed to being a set-apart feminine girl, so I was wondering if you had any advice?

    Thanks, Kasey
