A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of visiting friends for a time of delightful fellowship. While we were there, we met their farm’s latest additions: lambs.
The mothers ate while the babies watched us in their own cautiously inquisitive way.
I became fast friends with this wee one. He was most charming
and enjoyed a good, long rub on the noggin.
Mrs. Mendenhall petting my new friend.
Spring is here with new life – beautiful new life!
P.S. Did I mention that the owner of these darling lambs has an Etsy shop & blog? I think you will like them.

Oh I love these shots! Great job!
Aw,how cute! The last time I was at this farm, they had goats :-)
Such beautiful pics! Spring is here too. :) Can’t wait to visit your friend’s store.
Aww, what sweet captures of all my favorite wooly faces! Thank you so much Emily Rose! And I don’t think your little buddy would mind another visit, soon. :)
Lovely! Reminds me of these little sheep I saw recently on Reclaimed Wool (a Portland, Oregon artist named Heidi Leugers makes them from upcycled sweaters): http://reclaimedwool.com/
Lovely little lambs. Hard to imagine having to sacrifice one of these perfect little creatures because of my own sin. A good image and reminder for the season of Easter. So grateful to be on this side of the cross, with the blood of the Lamb washing me spotless before the Father.
So cute! First and last shots are my favorites. Too adorable. It’s too bad they have to grow up and be sheep. :-)
Those little lambs are so CA-UTE :) :) They’re really adorable when they’re jumping around, too :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
Sheep are so adorable, especially the little lambs. Thanks for sharing about your wooly friends!!

They are so cute!! My little sister enjoyed collecting stuffed animal lambs when she was little they were all so cute, but I think the live ones are cutest! :)
I have always had a love for sheep! I really enjoy the posts on your blog! We saw your family at the home school convention in South Carolina….. Your sister’s art was very encouraging!
Hello Emily Rose!
Aww, what sweet little lambs. :) They’re adorable… and you took such gorgeous photos of them!
It was SUCH a delight to see you and Breezy at the convention! To be quite frank, I had forgotten how *nice* you girls are!!! ;) I wish we lived closer to each other! I hope we are able to meet in person again sooner rather than later. :D
Love & Hugs!
