13 April 2009
The birds play outside our windows, singing their lovely little songs.
E’rywhere we turn there are little sprouts of green that get bigger by the day.
The days are cold and rainy, but Spring is here again.
“This is the day which the Lord has made;
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
– Psalm 118:24 –

Indeed….
Spring is here!! :)
What a lovely post….
that picture is just gorgeous!!!!
It reminds me of that beloved hymn….
“All things bright and beauteous,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wondrous,
The Lord God made them all.”
-Cecil F. Alexander
Hope you are having a very pleasant Monday!

Hello Emily Rose,
Thanks for the encouragement boost!
That little robin is so cute…and plump. :) I think plump robins are one of the most adorable birds!

Your birdie is very cute, also! I like it’s lovely red velvet waistcoat. Quite fashionable, don’t you think?
Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

Thanks for your comment! It took me a while to realize I had a comment, because, for some reason, I am not getting e-mails that tell me when I have a new comment on my new account.
Your photography is just beautiful! The camera I have is just a regular digital, so it doesn’t do very much. I would love to get one, though, that I could do more professional looking photography with.
The one’s I have looked at, however, are pretty expensive. Do you know of any cameras that are at a decent price such as those?
I am looking forward to this summer when, hopefully, I can do a better job at visiting all my blogging friends. :)
Hope your day is a joyful one, Miss Emily!
Lovingly,
~Missie~

Thank you for commenting on my blog, Emily! I’m planning on just writing the verse (neatly) on an oval mat cut out salvage and hanging it on a ribbon. Keeping things centered is giving me a little trouble. I hope it works!
How did you capture that adorable robin so clearly??

What a handsome Robin!! Give him a little hat and you have a Robin Hood ;-)
Thanks for your comment!! It was exciting and action-packed!! I think the poster-looking one is my favorite too. I like the action blur.
Nice…I looked up the Nikon D60, it looks like a great camera!!! Yes, I totally know what you mean about remembering with what photo you used manual or autofocus.
Missie–
Try looking at your local camera shops at second-hand cameras. I got a great Canon Rebel XTi at a great price because it was pre-owned. Usually, (at least at the camera shops/web sites I’ve visited) the people at the shop examine the camera when it is brought in and give it a rating as to the condition of the camera. Make sure that when they rated it that it got a good grade, and also shop around online and look at the different models so you know exactly what you want, so when you see something for a good price you know if it will work well for you.
Hope that helps!!

I always smile curiously when I hear/see people talking about the arrival of spring. Having lived in So. Florida all my life, I’m not exactly sure what spring is… nor winter, for that matter. :) But, Happy Spring to you!
