The NCFIC Love the Church Conference was held in Asheville, NC December 9th-11th. It was a time of rich teaching, precious fellowship, wonderful memories, much singing, and priceless workings of the Lord for which we are forever thankful.

Below are just a few of the photographs from the conference:

Looks like you all had a great and encouraging time! Great pictures too. :-) Do you guys know Jacob Bernhardt? I saw him playing the piano in one of the pictures. He is the conductor for our orchestra here. What a small world!

    Dearest Emily,

Thank you for sharing the many sweet photographs. I greatly enjoyed viewing each and every one of them. It looks as though you all had a very blessed time at the Love The Church conference, and that it was filled with much wonderful Biblical teaching!
May the Lord continue to bless you and your family, dear friend!

P.S. I love the second photograph of you, Emily, Lauren, and Breezy. It is such a blessing to live right near Emily and Lauren. They are both so sweet!

Yes, it is one our family will never forget either! We always feel so energized and filled to overflowing when going to these conferences, but I feel we gleaned more from this one than before! And not just from listening to the amazing speakers, but the uplifting conversations and the sweet fellowship from the families we met (new ones and old) as well!
We were so blessed to fellowship with you and your family at the conference! I only wish we had more time to talk! Lord willing we will be attending next year’s conference!!! Ahhh… what a joy it will be to see y’all again and many other dear brothers and sisters in Christ! :)

Your photos are always lovely my dear, and God has given you such wonderful gift!

Thank you so much for sharing! <3

Much Love and blessings in our Lord,

    Miss Antoinette

Pauline, thank you! The picture near the end with the caption “Sisters” is of three sisters who are not actually my sisters but they themselves are sisters. I only have one sister, and she is sweet Breezy. But I am thankful for my many sisters-in-the-Lord! I hope you have a wonderful new year, as well! Blessings, Emily Rose

    Emily,
These pictures are just beautiful! I really enjoyed your recap of the event – as well as last year’s SOS conference. Your photos are very crisp! What lens did you use for these shoots?
The new blog design is beautiful also!

  15. Emily Rose on Jan 6, 2011 said:

Sarah Lee, thank you! The lens I used for most of the photographs is the Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 (my personal favorite). The other lens I used (for the wide-angle shots) is the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8. I hope that information is helpful! Blessings, Emily Rose
